Established in 1773 as the Mühendishane-i Bahr-i Hümayun (Imperial Naval Engineering School), the Turkish Naval Academy has been the cornerstone of maritime leadership for over 250 years. Evolving through the modernizing vision of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Academy today operates under the National Defense University at its state-of-the-art Tuzla campus.
